Juni 2026 Als ich über den „Zephyr“ für diesen Monat nachdachte, waren meine Gedanken und mein Herz ganz auf Pir Vilayat gerichtet, und so kam mir der Gedanke, euch zu schreiben und euch mitzuteilen, was ich ihm gerne mitteilen würde. Lieber Pir Vilayat, Zu diesem feierlichen Anlass, deines 22. Urs, erscheint es mir angebracht, mir die Zeit zu nehmen, dir zu berichten, was sich in der Gemeinschaft der Botschaft der Liebe, Harmonie und Schönheit tut. Vor mir steht ein majestätisches Bild von dir und einem deiner Adler. Neben diesem Bild steht mein Computer, und so führt mich deine Liebe zur Zukunft zu einer Suchmaschine, die Bäume pflanzt, wo ich ein Interview mit dir über Angst, Mut und Erwachen finde. All das hilft mir, mich auf dein Wesen einzustimmen, und ich erinnere mich an deine Worte in dem alchemistischen Weisheitskartendeck, das zu deiner Zeit entstanden ist. Die ersten Worte, die ich sehe, lauten: „Schätze andere, stehe ihnen bei …“ Das erinnert mich an einen wunderbaren Keim, der derzeit in Großbritannien gedeiht. Dank der Kreativität der Kuratoriumsmitglieder von Inayatiyya UK gibt es mehrere Gruppen, die sich mit den Lehren unserer Tradition beschäftigen. Ich bin Teil einer Gruppe, die sich mit dem Thema Tod und Sterben beschäftigt und von drei ehrenamtlichen Helfern mit Offenheit und Mitgefühl geleitet wird. Dank ihrer Unterstützung und der Bereitschaft der übrigen Mitglieder, unsere Erfahrungen mit den Lehren sowie unsere Fähigkeiten und unser Fachwissen in die Welt hinauszutragen, sind wir zu einer engen Gemeinschaft spiritueller Wegbegleiter auf dieser Reise unserer Seelen geworden. Dabei decken wir alles ab – von unserer eigenen Sterblichkeit über Beerdigungen bis hin dazu, wie Gefangene in Schottland in die Trauerbewältigung einbezogen werden. Die Inspiration dieser Gruppe ist ein Gegenmittel. Deine Worte „Was wäre, wenn?“ – die du oft mit diesem Funken Freude und Humor wiederholt hast – sind ein weiteres Gegenmittel. Für mich spiegelt sich dein Engagement für bewusste Gerechtigkeit, das ein Eckpfeiler deines Lebenswerks war, in diesen Worten wider: „Lass deinen Frieden in deinen Taten Gestalt annehmen.“ Dieses Engagement spiegelt sich auch in der Arbeit des Hope-Projekts in Delhi wider, das weiterhin floriert und deinen Urs in deiner Dargah feiert. Du bist dabei, wenn wir herausfinden, worin die Aufgabe unserer Zeit besteht. Wir stehen wie immer an einem Scheideweg, an dem es darum geht, unsere innere Transformation in unsere äußere Welt zu tragen – aufgrund dessen, was du benannt hast: der Wunsch des Bewusstseins, sich kontinuierlich weiterzuentwickeln und dabei im Ewigen Jetzt auf unserer Reise „hin zum Einen“ zu verweilen. Es wäre nachlässig von mir, nicht zu erwähnen, wie Musik als Heiler der Seele wirkt. In diesem Monat erschien eine neue CD von Shaikh-ul-Mashaik Maheboob Khan, auch bekannt als der Komponist Archshaik Maheboob Khan, der der jüngere Bruder von Hazrat Inayat Khan war. Es ist wunderbar, seine Kompositionen zu den Texten von Hazrat Inayat Khan zu hören. In diesen Kompositionen spüren wir das Licht der erleuchteten Seelen. Wie du uns immer wieder in Erinnerung gerufen hast, ist der Weg des Lichts unser Weg. Du hast ja gesagt: „Wie würde die Welt anders aussehen, wenn zum Beispiel wir alle unser Erbe als Mitglieder eines ‚Stammes des Lichts‘ zurückerobern würden, der sich geschworen hat, der gesamten Schöpfung Erleuchtung zu bringen?“ An dieser Stelle betreten wir die Welt der Imagination und „Den Strom der Zukunft“, weshalb ich euch um eure Gebete bitte, während wir diesen „Stamm des Lichts“ um Hilfe bitten, die Zukunft mitzugestalten. Im Folgenden habe ich die Einladung beigefügt und bitte dich, unsere Arbeit mit deinem Licht zu segnen. Nun, da ich zum Ende dieses Zephyr komme, bleibt mir nur noch, lieber Pir Vilayat, zu sagen: Ich bin von deiner Gegenwart erfüllt, durch deine Worte beflügelt und unendlich dankbar für die Flamme, die du in unseren Herzen entzündet hast. The first words I see are: “Cherish others, uphold them...” This brings to mind a beautiful seed that is being cultivated in the UK. I am in a group that has been studying death and dying, held with openness and compassion by three volunteers. With their support and the rest of the members' willingness to share our experiences with the teachings, our skills and expertise in the world, we have become an intimate group of spiritual companions on this journey of our souls. Covering everything from our own mortality, to funerals, to how prisoners<https://inayatiyya.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=fd862585… in Scotland are involved in the processing of grief. The inspiration of this group is an antidote. Your words, “what if?”–oft repeated by you with that sparkle of joy and humour–are another antidote. For me, your dedication to awakened justice, which was a cornerstone of your life’s work, is emblazoned in these words: “Let your peace be materialised in your actions.” This dedication is also embodied in the work of the Hope Project<https://inayatiyya.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=fd86258578… in Delhi, which continues to thrive and is celebrating your Urs at your dargah. You are present as we discern what the work is for our time. We are, as ever, at the crossroads of bringing our inner transformation into our outer world, because of what you named: the desire of consciousness to evolve continuously while resting in the Eternal Now in our journey “Towards the One.” I would be remiss if I did not mention how music acts as the healer of the soul. This month we saw the publication of a new CD by Shaikh-ul-Mashaik Maheboob Khan<https://inayatiyya.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=fd86258578997…a6bc996b2c>, also known as the composer Archshaik Maheboob Khan, who was the younger brother of Hazrat Inayat Khan. It is wonderful to hear his compositions set to Hazrat Inayat Khan’s words. In these compositions, we feel the light of the illuminated souls. As you constantly reminded us, ours is the way of the light. In fact, you said: “How would the world be different if, for example, all of us were to reclaim our inheritance as members in a 'tribe of light' who vow to bring enlightenment to all creation.” This is where we enter the world of imagination and “The Pull of the Future”, which has me asking for your prayers, as we call on this “tribe of light” to help us mold and shape the future. I have included the invitation below and ask that you bless our work with your light. As I come to the end of this Zephyr, all that remains dear Pir Vilayat is to say: I am bathed in your presence, uplifted by your words and grateful beyond words for the flame you lit in our hearts.
